I always thought these looked cool, and was thinking to buy one recently. Does anyone have any experience on these? How is the sound and user friendliness compared to SP's?

i have an asrx, it is without memory extension, so no scsi, only floppy discs
i didnt use it since 1 year
some pads are stuck
i think the main difference is in the ram memory and some seq bugs, solved on the pro version
the worklow is similar to the akai mpcs, so if you want an sp comparison you have to refer more to the 505 or 606 (in them of sequencer).
the sound is great, a bit grittier than the asr10
