How to record Sp 404sx sounds onto Logic X Pro
Hi, I'm new to the sp world. I was inspired by teebs a few years back and decided to up my game. So far I'm loving what I've created and sampled. But I'm having issues with recording drum, sounds, or effect onto logic. I did some research on midi but that also seems not to work. Any help on this I'm interested thanks

What you need is an audio interface or mixer. MIDI doesn't actually create or record sounds, it just triggers them.

If you're just wanting to record your sp you'd probably wanna go with an audio interface. Which one you buy depends on your setup and what exactly you're wanting to do. I use a Mac as well. Depending on your budget an Apogee Duet or a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 are both pretty good.

I have a lexicon alpha audio interface. The sound is low after I record. is that normal? Thanks
