Just copped a orignal 404 in great condition for £100, is this a bargain? There's also a 303 on eBay I was also bidding on but it's now £430 ! I'm not sure if I've just got a steal or if that 303 is very very expensive?
Anyway I'm new on here and I've been reading this forum for a couple of weeks now and there's so much information and nearly 10 years worth of sp discussions and battles etc, it's so good ! Even ppl like mr dibia$e are on here! I can't believe it's taken me this long to realise the quality and posibilies of the sp machines and the scale of the community on here and once I get to grips with the 404 I'll be a bit more active sharing stuff on the forums and getting into some Battles and whatnot. Cheers to everyone that's contributed help, answers, tunes and everything else to this wicked forum!

That's a killer deal. 404s usually sell for around $300. Same with 303s.

What the fuckkkkkkkk £430 for a 303??!!! That is insane, you would be very very very very very very very disappointed and stupid if you spent that on a 303. You should get four 303's for that. Could get a 2nd hand OP-1 or some other crazzzzzy piece for that much, maybe the rack version of Moog little phatty... Might have to sell mine!

yeah i thought 430 was a bit steep. its the first one i seen on ebay tho and i wanted it but yeah... 430 is a lot.

The 404 i did get is really really good, spent all day on it. ive got a op1 as well and thats really really good, ive had it ages and used it loads and still feels like im just scratching the surface of what can be done on it. do many people on here use an op1? theres an op forum which has loads of users and people making some good tunes on them, battles and stuff. today ive been sampling from the op to the 404, and making some loops. still early days but once i got some more complete tunes down, and get used to the 404 ill share the results.
