Yo, new to the forum.
I'm seriously considering a 303 for my signal chain in between sampling vinyl and my MPC2k XL.
I can't seem to find any answers online and the manual is pretty basic.
Basically I'm looking for info on the EQ itself. How many bands, frequencies, is it quick to access on the interface etc. If you know of any demo's on youtube etc flick them through.
What are your thoughts on the EQ function?
I thought I'd go with an SP since it has dope effects - instead of just a simple EQ rack with no other features.
Thanks in advance.

Re: SP 303 Equalizer
It is a 3-band EQ. They are at fixed frequencies. They do not silence the band when turned all the way down.
It's a decent EQ but I would recommend a dedicated EQ to do the job right. A SP-303 may be a good tool for other situations though. The effects are killer, but the EQ is basic.

Re: SP 303 Equalizer
Thanks for the reply.
Yeah I'm working with a 3 band EQ at the moment on a mixer and it's just not doing the job.
The effects are something I really want to jam with though. So I'm up in the air about this still.
Any other suggestions with effects/filters and a good eq?

Re: SP 303 Equalizer
Not to mention you can get a dedicated equalizer for less than half the price of a 303.
