Ableton question

Post by thetownie »

So this is an Ableton question. Does anybody know how to reverse a portion of an audio clip ? I guess an example of this would be on radio edits where the cuss word part of the track is reverse out ? (if that makes sense)

If u are looking to reverse just a protion of a clip, I would take the clip and throw it on a track in timeline view. Find the portion of clip u want to reverse. Highlight that portion and hit cmd e(ctrl e). This will cut that portion into new clip. Now what Warlock said find that reverse button and hit that. Now select the whole clip includin part u cut. Hit cmd j (ctrl j). This will group the twoclips back into one clip. Now u have that whole track back as one clip with just the parts u wanted reversed. Hope this helps. Peace.
