Hey thanks, I really appreciate it! 
For that mixtape, I sampled and chopped everything in Logic, then put everything into my MPK49 controller, assigned all samples to a pad, and played it live. It wasn't until finding this forum that I decided to buy a 303 and then run my final mix through it. Now I'm hooked and having been making beats solely with the 303, as well as incorporating Logic and the MPK49 into the process.
