Need help with vst plugins

Good evening fellas, I was wondering how to I add plugins to ableton 9 live on windows? Perhaps even point me to the direction of some free plugins?

I'm looking for some new synths and keys to play around with or anything interesting

they sound pretty usable with some FX and stuff

Some cool plugins for me are the ones that emulate classic synths like Dexed(for the DX), mono/fury(for the mono/poly), and of course, the classic Minimogue(for the minimoog). I like basic synths in general. Ah yeah, and let's not forget the CZ emulation synths and the nes 8bits emulation synths(my favorites are from tweakbench http://www.tweakbench.com/triforce , http://www.tweakbench.com/peach).
