SP-303 MADE IN JAPAN VERSION???

I just bought a 303 online from ebay and it reads "made in japan" on the back.

Is this like a fake version or cheaply made version? Anything different from the US version?

Rather have it made from Japan than US. US imports from China anyway. Japan, Germany and Netherlands make quality
