hey all,
i'm gonna be in tokyo for a few days. i know there are some cats on here who rock japan. thot i'd see if anyone has any suggestions for fings to see in tokyo.
i won't have a lotta time, but i'd feel bummed if i missed out on finding crazy gear at reasonable prices, just cuz i forgot to ask, for example.
lemme know if you have suggs.

akihabara has some really cheap electronics, it's like a part of town that has only electronics actually. ameyoko is in the ueno area and that is where one of the biggest train stations and lots of really cheap shoes and clothes can be found in the street markets. ueno is cool cuz it has a big park with a temple and there's a hard rock cafe at ueno station. there's a lot a homeless drunks in the park, don't be scared of em. finally harajuku is hi fashion and really cool but t-shirts in that area can run about 10,000 yen to give you an example of how expensive it is in that part of tokyo.
get any maps you can online, those subways can be really confusing. one more thing sometimes there is no english until you get down into the waiting area for the trains so that can be confusing. oh, try and avoid high traffic times, like when people are going/coming from work.
