Long story short my MacBook randomly died on me. Brought it to the Apple Store and they told me it was either a corrupted hard drive or the video chip needed to be replaced. Thankfully it was just the video chip. I almost lost three years of music and two beat tapes I'm working on right now. Including all my shitty writing and photography.
If you store your music on your computer and don't have all of your music backed up onto an external hard drive. Go buy a damn external hard drive and back that shit up ASAP! Shit, buy two just in case.
A lot of you probably already do this is for those who don't.
Anyways that was it.
Peace.

second this
for those of you who keep -everything- on yer computer, definitely get a dedicated backup, unless you fucks with the idea of losing everything and starting all over again

I've been lazy about it since I bought my Mac Mini in 2011. But I should get on with it soon.

There's an old saying that if something doesn't exist on three separate storage locations than it doesn't really exist (in the digital world)...
