Anybody out there find any decent bags or cases for your 404? I'd like to toss mine in a backpack and just bring it along with me but would like to keep it in a bag or case of some sort. Suggestions?

Any box bigger than your 404 (duh) add some foam padding to protect the potentiometer knobs and bob's your uncle.

if you look on ebay they make cases for em for about $30. Not sure how good they are but they seem like they get the job done.

you could probably make somethin pretty simple with some velcro and foam, kinda have it wrap around it and lock with the velcro

If you went to a camera store, you could probably find something padded and not too silly looking to carry it in.

I just ordered a Zebracase. They're the cheapest foam-lined hard cases I could find. I'll be gigging with the 404, so a hard case is a must. I'll let you know if it's any good.

a record bag might be ideal also, plus you can put your vinyl digs in there too!

I gotta warn u all carrying around your 404s in backpacks ! This is how my 1st 404 got screwed up. My main volume knob got messed up from the bag. If your gonna roll with it in a bag, make sure you but a nice piece of foam with holes for the knobs tob keep em protected.

I got it in my mic case

when I bought a Behringer B1 I got this hardcase with foam in it with it. I cut out a swuare in the foam for the 404, voila fits like a glove. It is about the same size as the 404 so it still fits in my backpack
