midi in and fx

does the incoming midi signal have any effect on the fx? or for instance if a seq is 80 and another one is 120 does some fx sound different ? I searched trough the manual but couldnt find any info. kinda dumb qouestion though sorry...

i don't think it does, unless a Master Tempo is controlling the 404, in which case the MIDI BPM will also control tempo-related effects parameters
