SP-555 Midi Sync Automatic Pattern

Hey!

I'm syncing my sp555 as a slave (auto mode) to my esx-1. When I play the electribe, there is a automatic pattern running on the sp.
Someone mentioned that one way to work around it was to make a new pattern with just one sample and delete the sample afterwards, in a way that the new pattern is just silence. I tried that but it still plays the initial pattern and I can't stop it.

Do you know how to solve this?

Check and see if theres info in the manual on a Pattern Start function, and then hopefully its on a single midi channel. Not sure about the electribe, though I'm guessing you should be able to alter what midi channel notes go out on.
