How it works:
1. Microwave Battle thread opens Monday each week with a new thread in the Arena: "Microwave Battle #..." plus upload of samples to the SP-Forums Box account

Entry in the battle and access to the SP-Forums Box is open to all.
(If the previous weeks winner(s) has not started the new battle by the end of Monday Pacific Time, the new thread can be started by anyone.)
2. Whoever starts the new battle creates a folder in the Box account named "SPMB#..."
3. Each participant may upload 1 sample to the Box account in the current battle's folder. Audio must be not longer than 30 sec. in wav or mp3, and can contain any material. You do not need to provide sample material to participate.
4. Post the uploaded sample's link to the battle thread and mark it with ! SAMPLE !
5. If the previous weeks winner(s) upload sample(s), element(s) of this/these must be used in some way. All others sample material are optional. No outside samples or instruments are permitted.
6. Microwave entries must be not longer than 1 min. Only 1 SP, bouncing to an external recorder permitted, multiple entries allowed.
7. Deadline for entries/opening of the poll is midnight Friday Pacific Time. The poll runs for 2 days.
(If the previous weeks winner(s) has not started the poll by midday Saturday Pacific Time, it can be opened by anyone involved.)
