Stuck pads and frozen OS on 404OG

It only does it in one or 2 banks it seems and it's not the regular "sticky" pads problem. I press 2 pads that are contiguous and it's like they're on hold and the whole sampler freezes for a random length of time. Even 4x"cancel" doesn't stop anything. I hope it's just the card but it gives me the impression that it could be a short. Is that possible? I live in a basement and it's really damp. I never even bring liquids close to the machine either. (Not like Ras G that has the dirtiest 404 i've ever seen!!!)

alright, it was the goddamn card. Those cf cards are a pain. half of them work properly.
