I've only had it for 3 months and it's in great condition. Comes with a 128mb CF card.

I've already got one, but what prompted you to sell. Do you not get on with it?

I'm getting a sweet deal on an mpc so I won't be needing it. I liked my SP and made some nice beats on it but the mpc's features are better suited for what I do.

what model mpc are you koppin'? are you sellin' your sp to kop an mpc? cause if not why don't you use them both side by side, that's a ''fat combo'' right there.... 8) you might regret it later, there are things that an sp can do that an mpc can't do, ''vice versa...'' but if you know what's best suited for you then it's kool & the gang & that's just my 2 cents  peace

An MPC1000. I'd love to have both but I'm in college right now and don't have a job so I'm selling the 606 to help pay for the 1000.

For the sake of 300 measly bucks you should try to save for the 1000 instead of replacing the 606.

Audio out of 1000 into 606; use midi to sync the two boxes and you've got a maaaad live setup  SP filters on MPC drums is awesome.

Of course if you don't want to play live then you probably don't care

Yeah, I play in a band so I know what you're talking about. My beats are just something I do in my bedroom at 2AM in the morning though :P

Hahaha :D Everytime I pull the sampler out at band practice I think our drummer feels threatened... Like he is about to be replaced.

I'm in a similar place as you - I'll be letting go of my SP-505 and possibly purchasing an MPC1000.. Obviously there are reasons to keep the sp505 (ssssweeeett effects being number one, whereas the MPC has stuff all effects), but want to keep my collection down to one toy..

Although, I've actually started considering the MC909 as my next toy.. had a play around with one the other week, and damn they are fun! :) Whereas an MPC is an "empty box", the mc909 has sssooo much stuff in it - while obviously it doesn't really excel in any one function, i don't care too much.. .

:)

Yeah, that's why I'm saving for an MV-8800. They are pretty cheap if I buy them in the US now and I've already messed around on it. Really dope machine, even iller than the SP-606 I'm using now. I might sell my SP-606, but probably not. At the moment I kinda miss my SP-555 and sort of regret having sold that awesome machine.
