MIDI Buffer

Post by METAFYZIKAL »

I've been using my SP as a MIDI interface for my Juno D in Sonar. It worked well for a while, but now when I try to record a MIDI track, I get the "MIDI Buffer Full!" message. What settings do I need to change?

Current Settings

Pad Base CH- off
Tx Mode- 1
Effect Ctrl - off
Sync Source - USB
Sync Mode - Remote
Tx MIDI Sync - On
Soft Thru - On

I get the same messge when I have my Sp606 in Sonar 7, I found out I have to turn the Sp606 on last since Sonar 7 is the master..I power up the Sp606 last.. Have you tried that?

If I power the SP after Sonar is started, it will not recognize the SP at all.
I'm running Sonar 6 PE with the SP connected via USB and my Juno-D Synth via MIDI I/O.

Press a few time on [EXIT], it should solve the MIDI buffer full! issue... I even get that message sometimes when using the SP-606 as my soundcard.
