I've made a couple of bleeps in it, but I'm not especially adept. I haven't tried using it in years...you got some dope patches or anything? Ever fucked with PD? That's another one I can make a beep or something in but haven't used it enough to claim any sort of proficiency at it...I can get it to make noise. lol

nothing worth sharing yet i'm still learning but i recently discovered that you can do some crazy multichannel expansion with audio and CV and you can also control any synthesis parameter with your mouse's x & y axis. it's a really powerful tool.
i've used PD a bit but i prefer writing some lines of code rather than using patch cords. it's just hard to get confortable with the syntax.
it would be cool to find a way for SC and SPs to interact, like do some crazy randomized triggering with messed up gate modulation.

Yeah, I got supercollider, and MAX/MSP too... and just like my banjo and erhu spend years at a time laying in their respective cases I doubt I'll ever have the time or patience to put into these programs to make them realise the sounds in my head, so locked in a file folder on an external drive they will stay!

If YOU however do anything cool with them in combo with SP, do share tho' !!

nice an ehru looks pretty sick didn't know that's what it was called.

i bought this fat book called "the supercollider book" there's some real good beginner tutorials in the early chapters, like the first 100 pages, then it gets real theoretical and rough for me. like, 600 pages of stuff i have no clue what it's about. you can find it in PDF online for free, but it's always nice to have the physical copy.

nick collins (the guy who wrote the dope book "handmade electronic music" - check it out if you're into building/hacking hardware) wrote a really good 12 week tutorial/course on SC which i use to complement the book, you guys should take a peep.
