Running SP-555 through guitar pedal (PLEASE HELP!!)

Post by FreezeTag »

Attempting to run my SP-555 through a boss PH-3 Phase shifter guitar pedal and sound is only coming out of one side of the speakers and headphones.. Tried running out of both the Phones and the RCA outputs, but still only one side.. Wondering if anyone has ever tried this or is running this setup right now? I cant see why this shouldn't work.. Also would like to know if anyone has a similar SP model (maybe the 404) that they're doing this with currently??

Thanks alot guys and please help!!

looks like it is a mono pedal.. you probably need a stereo to mono adapter to get the SP555 in mono. Like a little 1/4" adapter.

In the future, you're going to need to include stereo pedals, or, buy 2 of the same pedal to get it to work like you want. But a mono to stereo converter can usually be found at your local Radioshack.

Another possibility would be to run the SP out through a mixer and have the FX-pedal on an Aux-send/return. Although there might be impedance issues.
