UPLOADING SAMPLE FILEZ. . . .
2 classics, 1 epic (kind of) and a bit of early electronic.. drums shots and couple of loops come wit dem

so, we have one week to finish a beat using the uploaded sounds
*use your sp
*external bass,vocals ok
*use of external things like a lil bit of daw or other sampler is ok with me

let's say deadline is 5th of May. poll will start the 6th. if someone needs extra time he just needs to tell

main samples are uploaded on mp3, hope its no problem for anyone. if you want i can upload them on wav as well

don't have much to say i guess. imagination and ears are gonna get di best resultz!!

also if anyone wants to make it from outer space, use of sci fi effects and shit is more than welcome!!
here is an example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fjjr0DWwc5I

feel free to experiment! i dont mind if u want to make more than one beat, please do

now go get crazy!

If u have original source Waves of the main samples, please upload them. If the mp3's are original source - that's ok.
320 is a good bitrate, but not for resampling with fx. It could b ok sometimes, but sometimes it ruins everything.
Thank you!

nothing to explain here really, almost everything is done with the 404. I chopped loops on it, layered and efx'ed some drum oneshots, made bass with subsonic and recorded the jam into ableton with comp on each sample. then i layed on the acapella and resampled it with comp again.
looking forward to hear what you guys gonna come up with!
may the inspiration be with yall!

First submission y'all. Combination resample and pattern mode. Maybe not the choicest acapella, but I thought it worked haha. Fam Lay- Da Beeper. All done on the 404-SX except for the bass which I played live through the 404 into the DAW. Ran it through a SansAmp and a Boss OC-2. Dope sample choice, man!

Drenched in vinyl-sim... drums sound lazy 'cause my right hand blocked a kick in a taekwondo-tournament last week and it hurt to work the pads...
I won my second fight at least.

Used a few drum hits, the bass intro from the monk tune and a possiblly-little-too-repeaty flute snatch from the Duke Pearson. And some vocal snatches from an acapella where the guy raps about (among other things) pimping that anus (presumably not his own) and walking with a gimp not a limp.. sure, okay.

Picture is Nagi Noda. Her art is cool and she died too young.
