Help !!!! sp 303 problem
I did a trade over the weekend for some old equipment I no longer needed and as part of the trade I got a sp 303 that's giving me an error message when I power the unit on - reads either "8." The adapter I was given wasn't the original so I wanted to ask if that might be the problem or do I have to do a factory reset. Thanks in advance for any advice you guys can share.

What are the specs of the power supply?
Re: Help !!!! sp 303 problem
I don't think it's an issue with the adapter. I ran into this same problem while using the correct one.
On a side note, if you're old like me and have nintendos lying around the ac adapter they used seems to work just fine. Been using my current 303 with one for about 6 years now. The only issue is some buzzing if it's been running for a while. I don't know too much about electronics I'm just speaking from my own experience.

If your issue with the error was resolved please let me know. I'm struggling with the same thing still with my old 303. Don't wanna give up on it.

Re: Help !!!! sp 303 problem
I went to the main music equipment chain store in my city they said I need
The PSB-120 power adapter they didn't have it in stock at there location so they sent me to one across town that had the adapter on hold for me . So when I got there we tested it and all that came up on my display screen was .8 . So I'm not sure what's up .

Re: Help !!!! sp 303 problem
You could send it to Roland to have it fixed. Or you could open it up and look for loose connections, broken components and dry/broken solder joints...
