I'm feelin' it. The drums are too upfront for my ears, but interesting song structure. I like it.

What was your workflow like? Did you start the project from scratch or were you able to go through your library of samples (that you've collected from records over the years)?

How many different songs are sampled in one of these tracks, if I may ask? (Not asking for the names of songs). I'm assuming you've got a general idea?

i made this a while ago and i over compressed everything a bit cause i wanted that up front, everything loud and clearly audible feel. it can be quite tiring to listen to though!

i started it from scratch yes, i would search youtube and anywhere else on the internet for samples (no way i couldve done this with records) and recorded them all to my 404. i would cut away a lot of excess so i didnt have too much to handle and then these beats were actually done in maschine. i honestly couldnt have made it with anything else

as for how many songs sampled, most tracks are made from 3 or 4 records for the main riff if you like, but often there are a handfull of other snippets from records in there too. one or two tracks only have 2 main samples but 'rumma tum tum' for example has probably 7 or 8 lol it wasnt about trying to cram as much in as possible it was just a sound i had in my head and i never wanted to go too crazy. budgery Gaa however was just an excercise in pushing it. at the time i made this i was into playing with shit that sounds off but on
