Just Got a 202

Sold my SP 505 and copped a 202 with money leftover. Wanted one of these for a long ass time. Gonna ninja so hard on this thing. Anyone got any tips?

Tap out your drums from 202 going into your 404.
Add any fx, then sample back into the 202.

It's the sound that you get from the 202 that is uncomparable.

yup i definitely second that… use your 202 for the effects and bit crushing

record those samples into whatever you produce with ( DAW, 404, MPC, etc)

the cutoff filter and pitch effect are beast..

I will sample any smooth, deep sounding samples.. like bass line, rhodes, organ etc. as well as kicks and snares with my 202…

Yea playing around with it, the lofi effects and pitch is fucking insane good

Also, the pads on the 202 are pretty hard to push down. Is this normal or should i open her up and give her a good cleaning

TBH I needed the money and I just couldn't get into the 505

More hard than a 303, less than a 404...i don t found there are particulary hard to push.
