Thinking about getting an sp-555...

Can I resample a pattern With fx etc to one pad? Like I can on my microsampler?

i dont think you can resample patterns. unless there is some sp ninja work around i dont know about.

I was able to do this a while back when I was rocking 2 SP-555's, i had the midi clocks synced to each other so any effect I did would still be in time with the sequencer as it was recorded into the other machine, it can be useful live when using the compressor to make the ducking/side chaining like sound while still doing other effects on the main machine.. I ended up parting ways with the second because i ended up not needing it as much as I thought I did, there were certain pluses to having two especially for live situations when I performed with the sequencer, may have to get a second one again but I'm trying to get an OG SP-404 for on the go first.

I know this is an old post, but I'd thought I'd chip in for future users.

You can in fact resample patterns with the sp555. You can use the loop capture to record a pattern and then save that to pad. :D
