I would say the 404 because it has more features. I own the 303 and 606 and never used the 404. I love the 303 but they dont make them anymore. Plus the 404 doesnt cost much.
Depends on what you want to do. There are enough people around here who only use a 303/404 + a sample source (turntable,vcr, dvd,mp3,...) to make beats.
ya i was just looking towards making some beats because i have been drumming for a long time now and i wanted to get into some more electronic stuff. thanks for the feedback.
yeah, it depends on what your going for. With an SP you get all the basics -You can take just a stack of vinyl (or any sample source) and sample it in and your set to do what you want. If you want something more advanced with visual editing then go for something like an MPC.
ya i think mpc's are a little expensive for me. i have always wanted a sampler cuz i have always been into beats but i just cant decide between the 303 or 404...any suggestion's?
