NICE!! I almost picked up a Numark PT01 at Guitar Center during black Friday. They had them on sale for $49
All my friends have small portable turntables and I'm always jealous how they don't have to lug 25pounds each time they wanna sample in a different room. Kitchen beats are always best since you're closest to beer and food!

Hell yeah man, I try to make my proximity to food and beer a priority at all times! Yeah it's really awesome, I could never justify it to myself as the reality is I now have four turn tables! But it's soooooo pretty!!!!

Just a heads-up, those PT-01s are still for sale at $50 at Guitar Center. It even doubles as a laptop stand with the top case on it.

I use the Numark PT-01 as my primary turntable.
Not only is it worth its weight in gold when out diggin, it's got a great grittiness working on sampling.
I kind of like the obscurity that it brings with its warble, pitch shift, cutting in and out, and even skips.
That along with its saturated sound give it character.
Making it a tool of the trade for production as well as a life saver in diggin the crates.

Oh, and I just replaced the stylus on my PT01 with a new one to ring in the new year.

I don't think this counts, but i just received the pinnacle of all mixers. Not just any mixer, the BEST mixer. The Radioshack 4-channel mic mixer.

Anyways, I work at the shack and we get "free" shit sometimes. Picked this badboy up so I could stop fussing around with cords and have one out for both my turntable and cassette deck.

And a Stanton M203 mixer for 20.
