The struggle of finding the right power adapter...

Hey gyes.

I live in Sweden and the 303 (wich I'm thinking of bying from eBay) is from the US or japan.

Been searching for this a while, but realized I'm not a electrichion so I don't know wich power supply that will fit.

Does anyone here know where to bye these?
Isn't there a site with a bunch of models saying that it's for this or that type of model?

the dude at the pawn shop pulled a onespot out for me to test my 303 with, ended up getting it as part of the deal.
its a switching power supply rated for all over the world, though youll quite possibly need a physical adapter for the plug itself
if not a 1 spot, a regular 9V guitar pedal local adapter should do the trick

Won´t work, since it only has 200 mA, but the 303 needs 1000 ma (a.k.a. 1 A).

Every universal power supply should work, if it meets the following requirements and has the suitable plug:

9V DC, 1000 mA, center minus

Roland ACI & ACB were the power supplies suitable for the 303 back then. They have been replaced by the Roland PSB-1U -> http://www.gear4music.se/sv/G4M/Roland- ... dapter/C3A

This supply has 2000 mA, but that´s not a problem, since the 303 will only draw from it, what it needs (1000 mA). The voltage however must be 9V. If it´s higher, it will ruin your 303...

I believe some people have said the Zoom ST-224 Sampletrak works perfect with the Sp 303... they say it removes the hiss and unwanted "white noise" that the Sp 303 is known for. here is a link to it:

Is this the one people are talking about? My Sp 303 emits a HORRIBLE amount of unwanted noise and hiss, but nothing else in my setup does... at least not nearly to the amount the Sp 303 does.

Well, the Sampletrak uses a 300mA power supply whereas the SP-303 needs one with 1000mA...
