Thanks man. Renoise used to be a little more newcomer friendly, but they've catered more to long time users than new guys, which is a shame. I've used it and other trackers for 15 years, so don't sweat it. It's just another brand of hammer, like the 404.

I was going for a...strangley silent vibe...like when you go somewhere that should be like...busy as rush hour but there's no one there and it's just an odd feeling of stillness...which turns out it's ALSO described as you put it. It's weird how...taking different paths to something allows you to appreciate it (or be repulsed by it sometimes) from that path you took to find it...Sorry, a bit stoney right now.

Dunno how much will be in these styles, but I can't help but admit brushing into this vaporwave stuff has given me a new look at how i fux with samples...it's always nice to have fresh inspiration when you feel stale.
