Just picked up a 303 and I am getting the hang of it smoothly but I was thinking, why not start a thread for the rookies that just picked up a 303.
So feel free to share how you use your 303 and with what. Also sharing some wise information like warnings, what NOT to do, etc.

edit: I have a question(s). So one of my cortex vinyl is too worn out and won't play anymore so I was trying to sample off an AUX connection. Should I be doing that? When I play the sample, it won't get too loud, how can I fix that? (with the level boosted already).

I've been lurking this board for days soaking up lofi production tips and samples, proud to say i am finally the proud owner of an sp 303 as of today.
I downloaded the manual online and its been extremely helpful however I'm kinda disappointed in the selection of quality youtube video tutorials. Someone should get on that.
