I found a bunch of old Mad magazines and made them into chopper chamber wallpaper.

Took some time to get this config going, I'll probably stick with it for a long time...

Turntable->404->microsampler->channels 1&2 on Tascam,
laptop phones out->MPC2500-> channels 3&4 on Tascam,
Tascam effects send/return 1 (or monitor out for cassette sampling)-> other 404,
Tascam line output-> Mbox(protools 11),
All MIDI devices slaved to MPC2500,
and a 32MB cf card for exchanging samples between 404s/MPC.

Kel: holy shit that's a work of art setup... I could stare at that all day..

You use the Tascam->404 on your lap or sidewys?
Colour coding on the korg smart.. the whole flow is really smart.. no-fuss, no maintenance. I'm guessing thats some ikea vinyl shelving? I'd probably get a sore back/backside in that chair tho..

thanks man, I had to divide the keys up into 12s cuz it was driving me nuts, like having 37 little pads and losing my place whenever i would look away. i need both a better chair and turntable... i like those ikea shelves though, they're a good height.

Its pretty tight. The OS for the screen really expands the 1000. Its definitely worth it.
