what is that film that people use?
it's not just this but also MPC's. you could get the face plate schematics then design something on your pc, and then just print it out. you scan hand drawn stuff. it peels off and protects the faceplate, which is kinda cool.

huh. i didn't know anything about that. that sounds cool. jbl - if you figger this out, hit reply so we can also...uh...sample....that idea.

that sounds kinda cool.

I wonder who we'd have to talk to to get the full size vector schematic?

you know, i was thinking about this as and,.. well so what if we use a different font. especially if it peels off. you could really change it up.
does anyone have any idea what film/paper might work?

www.thomann.de just search for sp-404 and the skins will come up too.

i ordered mine from there and its dope. i got the black one. the writing is in gold and its made of metal just like the original silver faceplate. they only cost around €20 which is nice

Anyone here know any SP-606s that were customized? I'm looking into covering mine with colored sticker-paper, but perhaps there's a better way.

if you guys are interested in customising and ur handy with a pair of scissors or a knife, you can buy this special glossy sticky plastic, it's mostly used for car/motorbike customising u know, for the decals on the side etc, but if I wanted to customise my sp, thats what I'd be using. I did an entire guitar in the stuff once, and it looked really nice. It's waterproof etc too obviously.

Don't know where you can get generally, I'm sure u can find it on the internet someplace, I used to buy rolls of it from a market stall in my area.

Just a suggestion anyway!

EDIT-- I just did a little bit of reading and found out these things are called "Adhesive Vinyl Rolls"
