resample

I am having problems with resampling. It is cutting my samples short, the sample plays fine on the pad its on. I want to resample it to another pad. It is a one bar drum pattern and its cutting off right after the last snare. If anybody knows whats up your help would be appreciated.

You should manually resample and do it slightly too long, then afterwards use the Sample Loop Edit to cut down the end so it's like it should be. Sometimes... just sometimes it tends to shorten the samples here too when I resample. I think it has to do with what options you use whilst resampling (like auto trigger and things like that).

Do you resample just by pressing the pad one time?

Assuming it's a looping sound, it may also be the case that eventhough it is a perfect loop that the pause at the "end" isn't cut right, so when re-recording you'd lose a split-second there. Not sure how to solve that or get it right in one go though.

Thanks for the reply, I fixed the problem. I forgot to turn the bpm sync off. It was cutting it off early. I knew it was something I was doing wrong because I am always using the resample. Thanks for your suggestions though hopefully this helped you also.
