606 or 555???

wanting an "sp" to be an interface for my linux laptop doubling as a controller for fxpantion geist and flstudio.

lappy is old so laying chops in mix mode is a nesessity.

i had a 606 so i'm partal to that unit but the 555 is calling me, what's you guys opinion?

the one thing i see is
sp-606: wave form editing.
vs.
sp-555: 12 voices.

any other /- anyone else can see?
