Apology to Sp-forums
ugh. Wow. That post is a mess. Umm, I think at this time I'd like to issue a formal apology to the wonderful people on this forum. I recently got rejected from the Navy, because of something I did in my youth, and I got angry. I'm 19, I should take full responsibility for my actions. This forum has a long memory, longer than me being on here. I was welcomed here.
No judgement. No bitterness. No sarcasm.
I got turned away which really set me off, really upset me. I said some things that I shouldn't have said. I'm sorry. I probably came off really ignorant, hateful and angry and that's not me, i'm not really that kind of person. I'm moody sometimes, and I should see a doctor about taking pills for that soon for that kind of stuff. I put a bad vibe on this forum and that's not what I want.

Don't worry about it. And I would advise that you don't look for pills to tame your moodiness. Try pushing that chaotic energy out through art. And if that fails, try it with weed or some beer.

I served in the Navy. You aren't missing much. For the pat on the head on the way out you get, it's not really worth it...add into that personal politics and supporting US Gov't imperialism? I know you are depressed about your rejection, but I think overall, you'll be better off and I personally solute you for not being a part of our problem.

Re: Apology to Sp-forums
Thats cool of you to apologise man. Its hard when shiit happens. Sure people on here wouldve given friendly advice on the situation had you put it that way. Heiseken sounds like he has plenty of experience in that area and theres probably others here too.
I personally dont feel like i dont have any life experiences, im also in my 30s and for the record dont live with my parents and wouldnt consider my life comfortable. Just gotta make the most of it and enjoy the things that are important to you.
When you spoke about turning points in life , by the sound of your apology youve reached a greater turning point by accepting whats happened with the navy rejection and can move on with your life, whether that be commiting yourself wholly to being a musician/ producer or getting a job you hate and still making music for yourself and others that dig it, personally i enjoyed listening to your tracks.
Jhope everything works out or you

Respectfully, I'd like to offer a different perspective. As a person who works in the mental health field, I'd encourage everyone to realize that for the portion of people who have underlying mental health issues, these can be downright debilitating and can highjack people's lives. I'd encourage if you feel like you have underlying mental health issues that contributed to your choices or like you need to process things, there is *no shame* in talking to a professional about your needs. If you feel like meds could be helpful, talk to a doctor who would be able to help you make an informed choice on whether meds are right for you in the moment or as a longer term solution.
there are tons of brilliant people who have been nullified, both in function and literally, because they did not get the help that is available.
with all that being said, man, welcome back

Re: Apology to Sp-forums
Yeah, I'm far from an expert so I probably shouldn't try giving advice about it. Also shouldn't be recommending alcohol. I was posting drunk again. I need to stop that! Also need to lay of the beer. I took a couple weeks off and felt much better with way more energy. But in the words of Bob Dylan, everybody must get stoned! Smoking pot shouldn't be illegal, it should be illegal to not smoke it! I'm joking of course, but at the same time I think its great medicine when its not abused. Just be sure to brush your teeth! Mine are fucked up and I'm sure that smoking did not help.
Re: Apology to Sp-forums
The original poster just recently left some smart ass comments on both my sc pages so he must not be that sorry.I don't even know this guy and Im like wtf?As someone who has struggled with depression and bi-polar disorder I can kind of relate to his problems but they are HIS problems...I blocked him and want nothing to do with guy.Not gonna let him tarnish what has otherwise been a very friendly and helpful place to grow and create music.Dude needs to GTFO!

You also messaged me saying we should collaborate, almost immediately after I told you that you advertising was pathetic. You seem to take the Internet 2 serious, my dude.

I don't think posting my music links in a forum section designed for just that is pathetic….even if it sucks I would hope that someone would tell me what I should be doing different or something helpful.Im just trying to grow and get better like everyone else. And no I'm not a spam bot but I guess I should not have blocked you because thats spiting myself since I did really like your music.Sorry for coming off all butthurt and I hope you are able to deal with the problems your having because I can def understand some of where your coming from.Hope things get better.

I really appreciate that man. Things have gotten better, I would say i'm happy 80% of the time, and the other 20% I completely breakdown, sulk, all of that. I've pretty much made Tuesday my own day to be all emo, and the rest of the week I feel alive.
PM whenever you feel like you had a bad day or feel alone, there are people who can support you, myself included.
