hi
i recently found some cool emulators for nes and n64
i'm almost totally ignorant about nintendo due to my age (i'm most atari/c64 generation), but my sons like the supermario bros saga, so it could be cool to play on that Platforms on android or pc
so the questions are:
1) best/must have top10 games on Nes
2)best/must have top10 games on N64
3)do you know a cool emulator for psp or playstation (what is the main difference damn :) ) for android or pc?
4)my sons age is 4 to 9, so please no iper violent games guys :)

thanks!

I'm a NIntendork so my answers will be kinda obscure in some respects, but I'll try to make my list as versatile as possible so that I hit up the most notable games of all genres I can touch on. Here goes:

1.) Crash N The Boys Street Challenge (Sports/Fighting/Racing game)
2.) Wario's Woods (platform/puzzle game thingy...it's like tetris but you got a guy you move at the bottom fo the screen to arrange pieces)
3.) Guardian Legend (space hectic shooter/zelda 1 type game with minor puzzle solving and hot ass protagonist transformer robolady)
4.) Bionic COmmando (non-linear platformer..this one's pretty famous for it's fun mechanic that replaces a typical jump button)
5.) Jackie Chan's Action Kung Fu (action/film adaptation...it's not any one specific movie or anything, but it's the best game featuring a movie theme of any kind for NES)
6.) River City Ransom (fighter/action RPG punch mother fuckers and steal their cash to buy shit to make you better at punching mother fuckers and stealing their cash...and you can punch mother fuckers and steal their cash with an accomplice too...)
7.) Summer Carnival 92: RECCA (the Die Hard of shooters on the NES...shit's flying everywhere...japanese release only)
8.) Magician (action RPG where you platform and puzzle your way through levels while experimenting with glyphs to uncover new spells that give your character new abilities like flying and burning dudes into ash and bones, literally)
9.) The Immortal (action quest 3d thingy from electronic arts around their time they made a zillion games in that 3/4 3d view)
10.) Bucky O'Hare (this one's just representing Konami action games. There's a billion, I think this one's their best in both graphics and gameplay but also it's probably harder than any of their other action games)

Boom. Nintendorked it up in here.

Just do NOT do the Superman game on the 64. Any of the Dragon Warrior games on NES are great RPGs. Spy Hunter is a great one if you like challenge. Any of the Capcom platformers (like Mega Man) from the time are on-point. River City Ransom already got love here but making baddies puke their coins up never gets old.

Paper Mario is pretty looking and fun. Your kiddos have good taste, sir! If you were able to get a Playstation emulator working - I strongly suggest 'Legend of Mana'. Wonderful game, challenging and looks amazing. The moral of the story is more like a life-lesson one can grow into. So fxcking good.

I used 'PCSX' for a while. I remember that finding an emulator & getting it setup was a headache but I also want to remember this one just simply doing it's job.

Unfortunately setting up a virtual Playstation is much more convoluted than setting up an NES/SNES since there were a few different versions of the operating software over the years.

I've had zero issues using 'Mednafen' but that is also a multi-system emulator (and those have their own setup headaches involved if you are trying to emulate several consoles).

If PCSX doesn't work then you can check out Mednafen but PCSX would be my first stop.

also if you cant get a psx emulator working but wanna play legend of mana you could play one of the previous installments in the series. SECRET OF MANA for snes and if you want a good snes emulator snes9x is great
