whats ups guys i was just wondering is there an easier way to do synth modulation while recording a beat? I find it pretty hard to modulate a synth and play the chord at the same time, is there an easier way or should i just keep practicing doing what i am already?
heres an example from my synth beat page, i think the modulating on this track sounds horrible, but maybe im being to hard on myself, is there any exact points i should work on??
What sort of other gear/toys do you have? If you have anything that can sequence other gear then that is your ticket, mijo!
If you are just looking at filter modulation then you could even sample your notes/chords into the SP/whatever and pass the sampled audio back through your synth's input if it has one. Sample the result.

right now i only have the sp404 sx, im looking to get a 303 soon, and the synth im using is a vst emulation of the korg ms2000 :/ since i dont have enough money to get the real thing lol
If you're using VST, then you can probably find a cheap/free sequencer and record the chords/performance in one pass, then when you sample it, play back that sequence and your hands are free to play with modulation.
