I will get something over your way. Got a few beats just sitting on the 505 that need to be revived!

ahhh I thought the poet blurb would of been a good fit  . I'm not sure if I'll be able be able to make anything new in time, but if you want to use something else on my soundcloud just let me know. Everything was made on the sp303.

I also just emailed you something that you can use.

AH YEAH!!! :D I'll go ahead and set a loose deadline of the first of October. At that point if I still think the album needs more beats or if anyone wants extra time, I could extend it.

yo chopperman, I got a beat almost done for this but not sure if it fits
- mostly 404sx but does have synth bassline (does it have to be only SP?)
Also has some vocal samples in there, but nothing you couldn't rap over but it's not pure instrumental....let me know

Doesn't need to be only SP, just mainly SP, preferably.. so the synth is fine.
And I'm down for rapping over some subtle vocal samples. Tried it before and liked how it turned out.

Anyone want to flex their turntable skills on this album? I had this idea for an intro for an old school type song. Its 8 bars long, and I'm thinking for the first 6 it might be cool if someone could scratch a recording of me saying "Its chopperman rockin with the SP fam" and "SP fam" would be the main part to cut up. Then I was thinking after those 6 bars I could finish that line by saying "can I kick it?" then play synced up recordings of some SP fam members saying "Yes you can!" like in the classic Tribe song. Here's a link incase any of you somehow haven't heard it.

If you think it sounds like fun and want to help make this song, record and send a "yes you can!" to [email protected]
If you don't have a mic just use the external SP mic or record it on your phone. Don't know if anyone will do this but figured its worth a try.

You're kidding right? I guess using the SP DJ effect would make sense when scratching "SP".. but turntablism is still a primary element of Hip Hop.

Nobody's gonna send me some Yes you can recordings.
