Re: R. Precise- Combustible Dust Vol. 1
Those beats sound dope.
They're simple, but they got some grit to them.
I know how you feel when you work on some beats and the emcee don't do nothing with them. Same thing happened to me with one of my boys from back in the day. He was all amped on the stuff and then never recorded nothing for it. So they went stale and I just left them on a tape that sits in my shelf.

Damn R. these are nice, especially "Mind of My Own", had to go back n play that again before I even finished the rest
Re: R. Precise- Combustible Dust Vol. 1
It's a letdown when you make a batch of beats for a guy and he don't do nothing with them. Especially when you custom tailored it for them.
My boy skipped out on some beats I made for him back in the day and I was a little sore about it. Now we're talking about doing an EP together. He bought me some records to sample from so he's probably serious this time around. What I got so far is sounding dope on my end, so hopefully he's feeling the beats and records some vocals to them.
We got two different styles though. He usually works with beats that are real clean and done on a Triton keyboard.
I work with a SampleTrak, dusty records and beats recorded to cassette.
I told him I wanted to put out like a 50 count run of the project on cassette and he laughed at me. Said nobody buys tapes anymore.
Shit, I buy something on cassette every week. I just copped some 80s MTume on tape for 3 bucks.
I think tape is a dope medium. Maybe cus I grew up as a 90s kid and I feel kind of stuck in that era.

I hate the fact that they are simple. A few more carefully added elements would've made this more interesting for the listener. Sadly, I lost the drive to finish them.

I like simple beats. It allows for the emcee to shine.
These aren't from an instrumental album. They're meant for someone to rap over.

Finally listened. Honestly, I've been hoping for a cassette release for a whle now, and didn't want to go falling in love with this. But I did. I think I'll just record it to tape on my own
You've mastered your set up and you manage to squeeze more fidelity out of the 202 than I thought possible. Sounds amazing!

I can customize cassettes for anyone that wants one. I have everything needed to put it together and I'm thinking I should put together a few just to get that feeling of accomplishment.
The satisfaction of putting out a physical release has always evaded me and I owe it to myself to follow through. It all boils down to interest and who wants one?
