Just got a boss dr. 770

What up. My moms copped me a boss dr. 770 I haven't had the chance to even fire it up yet due to summer activities/haveing children. Anyone have anything to say about it, is it dope, is it mad bunk? Fucker got her for $150 so it ain't lookin like we got a deal. They had a boss dr.3, an alisis joint or whatever that were $69.99 and this one n she insisted on getting it so I said word. But anyways was it a good buy???

it's better a dr770 than a dr3; i had it (the 770) and now i have a dr660; they share very similar sounds and workflow and they both have midi in/out (dr3 don't).
think of of it like a sort of poor tr808/909

When I got home I turned it on n the screen is dim as filznuck. I might just return it and kick in $50 for a kp3 kaoss pad they have. That thing looks pretty dope.
