I made an instrumental and decided it was too empty so i put an acapella over it, and i like everything, the flow is amazing however the chorus of the acapella i put is so bad. it is absolutely generic as hell and has no flow, and i tried 7 other acapellas but they dont match, i got pretty lucky with the one im currently using. Does anyone have any tips for what i can do? I have many good songs where if i show them to people i say "hold on this part is bad" and then the song actually gets good, i just dont want to have a cringe beat where its bad before it drops. Im tired of saying "hold on just wait" to people, i tried cutting out the chorus but its too empty, any suggestions? I would also like someone to rap over it however i feel like the acapella i found is 100% fitting. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions

i've never heard a 'cringe beat' is that a new genre? I've heard stuff that sounds like either (1) person is trying too hard or (2) person has right idea but not enough experience, but never 'cringe worthy'...

Also, I don't believe in 'drops' in tracks. It's either gonna be good or not good and a drop is like...pointless waiting to me. That's just me. So my advice is leave out 'the drops' and just make tracks. Drops are for clubs and clubs only and frankly in my opinion shouldn't even be there either.

i wouldn't spend too much time on this beat if you're not feeling it and it sound "generic". there are millions of records and sounds, just move on and do a new one.
