when i use sonar to track out my song i have to press play on the sp and record on sonar...it never is in sync with each other.it really throwing me off... any suggestions....
So why can't you simply record the sequence in Soundforge and import into Sonar? Only Pro Tools works like pro tools.
Try this: Record your sequence in Sound Forge. Set the loop points (ie 32 bar loop, 64 bar loop, whatever)
Load it into Sonar and set the tempo to the same as your original sequence. If the original sequence was 89.3 bpm, set sonar to 89.3 bpm.
Line up the start of the loop with the start of the sequencer in sonar and press play. It should now be in time with your other tracks in sonar!
