Thanks Om. That's what I thought but just wanted to make sure I wasn't holding myself back. I started doing these battles to get more practice using the SP anyway so I like the one box rule. I was actually surprised when I came here and saw that there were "SP battles" where you didn't even have to use an SP.

fast n sloppy -- unfortunately when I was trying to lay down a beat I was getting hella retarded lag and just now noticed I accidentally grabbed a class 4 card [mad] I had spent a half hour making sure I was grabbing the right one before I ordered... IDK WTF happened, maybe I just got too excited to be gettin one finally oh well

so I just kept the first one without lag, which of course had to be one of the sloppier performances

a bit long for the fourm standards...
all made with sp505, sort of rhodes jazz samba house, also with some Dakim style delay tactics, so some parts are live...take the time to listen, it's 5mins circa...

Real unique, I like it. It's almost like you've invented a genre. SP Dance Music or somethin. Junkyard robots in a night club 2 steppin just popped in my mind.
