re arrange patterns n banks/transfer patterns on new card

So first off
I was trying to arrange my banks

the drums are on bank a1
The sample is on bank d6
And extra hats and fx on bank g

Now i made a beat in pattern mode with all those
And now im trying to condense all those spread out sounds into one bank using the exchange option. Now when i play my pattern beat it cant locate those sounds and plays nothing. Am i doing something wrong or is there a work around without having to remake it all.

Second question
I have 4 memory cards, about 3-4 patterned beats on each, i would like to get them all on one card for a show, how would i go about that without losing sounds ect.

Hi,

You're going to have to reprogram your pattern I'm afraid, because the SP only knows to playback the pad numbers you pushed on the original banks you used, regardless of what sound is now assigned to it.

For your second question, maaayyybe you can exchange the patterns to the A or B bank, and then back onto a single card, but you will have to make sure the sounds are assigned to the right pads and that you don't have any two patterns sharing any of the same spots. But I'm not sure, I only do the resample method.
