some icey cool sounding beats on this. i like those cold keys samples. The last 2 tracks on the first tape were great to me.

sideb to me has a more melancholy lonely vibe. cool sounds.

Did you reach into a specific sub-genre for your sample chops or were they just what you happened to sample that day?

cant really say specifically on the sample thing since im on drums with these family event tapes but it seems like james just found random samples that he thought we could use and then when we meet up we give em a try. so yeah, i don't think he really reached into any specific sub-genre, just generally looked for nice samples to er... sample.
