how to turn of midi..

yo i dont kno wat happended but i cant record my patterns because midi is on ..how can i turn it off...i dont even have any cables hooked up

have you got it set to EXT control or INT control? It should be on INT. Also, if the D-Beam setting is on trigger it can cause problems for recording (it's meant for live use). Try going into the midi util page, or the usb page on the main menu; make sure everything is as it should be. Have you made any changes to the systme lately? They may need to be reversed.

fixed it!! turns out i had it on slave and u cant adjust the bpm when its on slave...
