When MCA passed away 2 years ago yesterday (May 4th 2012), I whipped up a tribute remix EP of some Beastie tracks with the power of the SP! It's free to download on Bandcamp or you can donate some money and all proceeds will go to http://www.FLAP.org, an organization dedicated to saving injured birds during the migratory process through Toronto's skyline.

saw them back in 1992 in Milan, during the "check your head" tour, (i had broken lips during a wild pogo in their hardcore punk set part), cool posse/band/group or whatever you want to call it, they shiftworked their instruments during the show...

i didn't liked that much their debut album, i was much into run dmc/public enemy at the time, but years ago i reavaluated it for its pioneeristic significance in the next crossover/metal etc in the 90s...
anyway my preferred album is paul's boutique (or ill comunication...)
