I've said it before, but heck with it. I just ordered mine yesterday from a GC in Atlantic City. They told me it'll arrive tuesday. Too bad I gotta hang with my girlfriend for her birthday that day, and then have a quickie with her the next day! (Her roomie will be gone).

Oh well, I'll maybe try to use it at work when we've got some down time. Who knows? Might even sample some calls I take....Make a beat with that!

So is the ST 224 board still alive? Or kind of dormant?

I prefer to learn tips here. Just feels more friendly.

There was talk many years ago to move the sampletrak forums over from the free service to a real bulletin board software with a proper domain name. The problem was that Lefora wanted too much money for the back up files to migrate to something else. Once they totally revamped their forums I gave up on it. Sadly, I don't have a 224 right now to join in on the sampletrak fun.

That's a shame, but there seems to be a few ST224 owners here, so I'm sure if I had any questions, I could find a answer here. I also have subscribed to the fb ST 224 page, so there's that as well.

for what its worth, ask a question here and people will be able to answer. I've been known to blow the dust off a 224 now and again :D

Yes yes y'all, I just grabbed one today also. It really is a dirt machine!

I heard Lewis Parker refer to it in a rhyme, can't remember which one.

The SampleTrak forums has been dead for a few years.
It's a ghost town there compared to this board.
I've had ST-224 questions that got answered here.
Wish I seen more posts in the Music section with beats using strictly SampleTrak.

I love the SampleTrak and would recommend it to anyone.

I just wished the time stretch had that warble like the 303 has. The ST is too clean on that effect.

I'm picking up a 303 in few weeks.
I think a SampleTrak/303 combo would be killer.
