SP Battle #155

Post by OgGhoul »

Alright since SebP and I tied last week we both picked a few samples for this weeks battle. You must use at least one sample from each folder, which should be easy. Seb was in charge of the one shots and drum breaks, and I was in charge of the main samples, more or less.

SebPs Samples:

My Samples:
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/yu0coshxrif65d6/zwAgptgrdt/Sp%20Battle%20155

Rules:
-No outside nothing, everything must be done in the SP
-one SP only

You have until next tuesday, May 13th, I'll start the poll the 14th
I'm new to drop box so if my link don't work I'm sure you'll let me know

Peace Y'all
and thanks for the votes, I'm sure the same goes for SebP

Haha sorry Grouch, you should try out that SX you just got(if you haven't started your flip yet). You won't be as limited, especially if you use the resample method.

Haha try to work with some real small chops, I think that might be the most effective way to flip these samples. Just my opinion though.

HAHAHA I think I'm having a manic episode don't mind me gonna drink some sleepytime extra and try and chill out

Damn sons, that 8min tune did my head in. I've flipped it before but couldn't remember where, been bugging me hard, spent a night trawling my record collection looking for the sample. Heard the 'magnificent!' and russian roulette samples around before too.

Wasted a bunch of time on that, turns out the Eric Gale tune was used in an MPC Forums battle back in August 2012. No matter, it's still a dope song. This MP3's what I did with it last time, it's mostly ESX with the 606 handling bass & guitar chops at the end.

Got something new planned for old mate Gale, 606 style.

Good work to Alnitak & Grouch too! This round's off to a good start with fellas like you.
