Various BPM per Pattern

Post by BendOva »

Is this possible? I try to make a couple of patterns and some of them don't have the same BPM. But everything pattern automatically changes to the bpm of the previous recorded/adjusted pattern..

Many of my 505 Patterns are different BPM that is one of the great things about the 505 vs most of the other SP fam.

I think you set play type to Phrase, set the BPM, then set the Play Type to Single and it will retain the BPM setting for that Pattern. I would have to look in my manual to be certain.

I copied patterns. I think that was the problem. I dont think you can set copied patterns to a different BPM. I think it also changes the bpm of the original pattern

No, read the manual, copying patterns will not cause the copied pattern or orig pattern to behave any differently. It also will not change the orig.

Here are the pages in the manual that explain things-
