VHS Therapy - Huge Free Compilation Tape

Post by MarcoGrouch »

me and some friends put together this comp, it's more geared towards weird/experimental stuff but it's 55 minutes of freebies. Hope some of yall enjoy it. [any donations would also go towards gettin the crew geared up with SPs after buying blank tapes + making flyers]

definitely appreciate the listen man
any constructive criticism and feedback is also appreciated
it was originally supposed to be a short tape but it just spiraled out of control so we figured why not just release it all. How do you guys feel about the length? Is it off putting or do you guys dig it? [or just any thoughts are cool]

Well I gotta admit the beggining was more abstract, not in a bad way, but not up there yet. It could have been a bit more dynamic in the texture and still keep it to what you guys are making.

The end was more energetic but still followed with the aesthetic. I enjoyed it.

Noddy pro is banging, your track waiting is quite dope too!

Was primarily DAW focused since I'm the only one with an SP.
I use Live + 202, pretty sure SleepyXtra uses Live, Modseq uses FL, and I think 2yung uses FL... not sure about the other guys

convinced Modseq and sleepyxtra to grab some 202s though so us 3 are gonna do a strict/raw 202 tape whenever they get em

thanks for checking it out man

Nice sound bro. Cohesive through out.

Did you used a Moog or monotribe for the sounds? Sounds damn good.
